I graduated from the University of North Alabama
with a Masters Degree in Community Counseling. Experience includes working in in the Disability Support Service Office and Counseling Center at the University of North Alabama providing services to a diverse campus population. I also spent several years
working in a community mental health center providing counseling services in the Shoals area.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Alabama as well as a National Certified Counselor.
I am also a member of Phi Kappa Phi and served on the Chi Sigma Iota (Counselors Honor Society) board for 5 years including a year as acting president.
Additional experience includes providing training workshops to several local agencies on Autism Spectrum Disorders, Team Building in the Workplace, Stress Management, as well as other mental health topics.
I also hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public
Communication and have provided brief instructional trainings on stress management and time management to enhance productivity and performance.
